The 2023–24 Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20 is the ongoing 2nd edition of the Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20, a domestic women's T20 competition in India. The tournament is taking place from 24 November to 4 December 2023, with six zonal teams taking part.[1][2][3] Central Zone are the defending champions.
Competition format
Six teams compete in the tournament, representing regions of India. Each team plays each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams in the group progress to the final. Matches are played using a Twenty20 format. All matches are played at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.[1]
The groups works on a points system with positions within the groups being based on the total points. Points are awarded as follows:
Win: 4 points.
Tie: 2 points.
Loss: 0 points.
No Result/Abandoned: 2 points.
If points in the final table are equal, teams are separated by most wins, then head-to-head record, then Net Run Rate.
